List Component Preview - Harness the power of Sweet Automation and showcase it in CRM & Forms
Custom Lists – The List Component Preview*
In Sweet 5.1, we are launching a first preview version of the List Component**, a powerful feature that enables the creation and customization of lists from all integrated data sources via Sweet Automation. It’s easy to select linked data sources, apply filters, and display information directly in the platform for a seamless experience. The List Component is an addition to Sweet’s Do-it-yourself interface, allowing customizations directly in the interface.
Benefits:
- Quick configuration of lists from internal or external data sources***. Create selection lists and publish them for access via the API.
- Easy sharing of lists in CRM for improved collaboration, where everyone can access the same information directly in the platform.
- Customize views to see relevant data in one place.
- Predefine background filters to ensure only the right information is displayed in the list.
Perfect for efficiently managing leads, cases, account information, or customer data.
Limitations:
Not everything is perfect from the start, even with Sweet. The ability to display only the entity’s linked list rows, mass update the list with actions, export to Excel, and edit directly in the list is not available in the first version. There may also be bugs when switching data sources and applying default filters, which we are working to resolve.
* The List Component is being released as a Preview, which means it’s an early version designed to introduce the feature and gather feedback, but some functionality is not yet fully available.
** List component requires an active Sweet Automation license, and an API user and the feature Admin Core Developer.
*** External data sources can be added to your lincese subscription
Custom Theme - Sweet CRM & Sweet Forms
Custom Theme
Sweet CRM and Forms now offer the ability to configure a custom theme for client-specific branding.
- Customizable elements: Define primary colors for elements like main menus and top menu, secondary colors for tabs, and text colors. The interface can be previewed directly in the platform as colors are chosen, to see how they fit together!
- Logo: Add your own logo to enhance your brand.
This feature enables personalization of the user interface to create a branded experience, both in your internal environment and external portal.
More in Sweet Forms
QR Code Generator and Accessible Links
It’s now easier than ever to share forms with people who can’t click a link—use a QR code that can easily be scanned! You can copy, embed, or download the QR code for your form. We’ve also added a “copy button” for the link itself, making it easier for form designers.
List question
The “Add new row” button now allows you to customize the text on that button to better describe the expected content of each row. You can further clarify what is expected to be added/answered!
Unpublish previous versions of forms
The question of unpublishing previous forms no longer appears when creating a new version of a form. Instead, all published and unpublished forms can now be found under Publishing Settings.
Discontinued support for Verified E-signing service
In Sweet 5.1, we’ve ended standard support for the Verified E-signing connection to better align with the needs of the majority of our customers, who have chosen other providers.
Accessibility in Sweet Forms
We are working hard to provide an accessibility-adapted solution for our digital forms, and we will be able to offer a solution well in advance. Read more about our progress here.
Minor changes in Sweet CRM
Exchange access for inbox and calendar
Sweet has made changes to the Exchange function, allowing connection to Microsoft Outlook Inbox, Outbox, and Calendar. To retain access to the inbox and Outlook calendar, users must have the Exchange function. This is set by the user administrator at the user level, either via bulk update in the user list or on individual users.
Microsoft Azure Service Bus integration
The integration with one more message queue, Microsoft’s Azure Service Bus*, in Sweet Automation enables the use of Azure Service Bus to handle messages and events asynchronously. Here’s what this means for each Sweet solution:
1. Sweet Automation
Capabilities: By listening to events via Azure Service Bus, Sweet Automation can efficiently manage automated workflows and integrations between systems. The system can listen for specific events happening in other systems and trigger automations based on those events.
For example, it can automate tasks like sending emails, updating databases, or sending notifications when a new message or event is received via the bus system.
2. Sweet CRM
Capabilities: By integrating with Azure Service Bus, Sweet CRM can receive and manage customer-related events in real-time. This can include notifications about new leads, customer updates, or transactions sent from other systems using message queues.
Sweet CRM can listen for events such as order updates or customer interactions and automatically update customer profiles or trigger notifications and actions based on these.
3. Sweet Forms
Capabilities: With support for Azure Service Bus, Sweet Forms can listen for external events and automatically manage form data in real-time. This could be used to trigger specific actions based on submitted forms or responses, such as generating reports, sending data to other systems, or initiating processes in Sweet Automation.
Overall benefits:
Improved scalability, reliability, and real-time responsiveness without systems needing to wait for responses, increasing efficiency and reducing load on backend systems.
Additional supported message queues: Sweet also supports Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Google PubSub for the same purposes.
*The connection to Azure Service Bus is purchased separately.
