With AI and the end user in focus
At Sweet Systems we develop customer management solutions with a focus on automation for customers in areas such as financial services, the public sector and larger B2B companies. Our solutions are delivered as SaaS. We are ISO 27001 certified and are now building the next generation of AI-driven system support with a fully AI-driven development methodology.
As Senior Frontend Developer, you are responsible for making our products intuitive, accessible and built for real users. You work in the product team and play a key role in making AI functionality understandable and useful in the interface.
The role combines technical depth with a strong end-user perspective. You get a large personal mandate and the opportunity to influence both the product and how we work.
Your assignment
You will work broadly with frontend, UX and AI in our products. This includes:
- Developing mainly in React with a focus on quality, performance and scalability
- Building and maintaining our component library and design system
- Making independent decisions and advising on design, UX and the end-user experience
- Designing and implementing AI-based functionality in the interface, with a focus on trust, transparency and handling uncertain answers
- Working AI-assisted in day-to-day development and helping to evolve the team’s way of working with agents
- Ensuring accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) in selected parts of the system
As a senior member of the team, you share your knowledge and help raise the team’s overall expertise.
Experience
You have several years of experience as a frontend developer and very good knowledge of React. You have built and scaled component libraries or design systems and are used to testing (unit tests, E2E) and CI/CD.
You have a good understanding of UX and experience of working closely with users. You have proven experience of independently turning brief product requirements into clear user needs and working features, even when the requirements are incomplete.
You have previously built AI-driven end-user features and understand RAG, context design and tool use, as well as the trade-offs around cost and latency. You also have extensive experience of AI-assisted development with tools such as Claude Code, Cursor or similar, and know how to review, test and quality-assure AI-generated code.
It is a strong advantage if you have experience of building AI-based products, come from a SaaS product company with iterative delivery and feature flags, have backend programming skills or have implemented according to the European Accessibility Act (EAA). Experience of exploratory, hypothesis-driven product development is also a plus.
You communicate fluently in Swedish and English.
